Mikko Kiviharju, Lic.Sc. (Tech.), will defend the dissertation Enforcing Role-Based Access Control with Attribute-Based Cryptography for Environments with Multi-Level Security Requirements on 17 May 2016 at 12 noon in Aalto University School of Science, lecture hall AS2, Otaniementie 17, Espoo.
In the dissertation, implementing the role-based access control model with attribute-based cryptography in high-security environments was researched. A more pervasive use of cryptography was found to be both feasible and beneficial from the security point of view.
