Materials platform organizes a pizza lunch event "Artificial Intelligence in Materials Science" on Thursday 5th of April in Nanotalo lobby. The event focuses on looking on AI from the perspective of materials researchers.

The combination of materials science & articificial intelligence is topical also from funding perspectives. There is an ongoing funding call 'Future Makers' by the Technology Industries of Finland Centennial Foundation (deadline 15.04). The topics of the call include artificial intelligence, platform economy, smart manufacturing, data-based materials science and technology, VR/AR.
