Joel Rybicki, M.Sc., will defend the dissertation "Counting, clocking and colouring: Fault-tolerant distributed coordination" on 19 November 2016 at 12 noon in Aalto University School of Science. Public examination will be held at the lecture hall SOK A301 of the Aalto University Töölö Campus Main building, Runeberginkatu 14-16, Helsinki.

The dissertation presents efficient and extremely fault-tolerant distributed algorithms for synchronization problems.
