Mika P. Nieminen, Lic.Sc.(Tech.), will defend the dissertation “User-Centered Design Competencies – Construction of a Competency Model” on 9 April 2015 at 12 noon in lecture hall T2, Konemiehentie 2, Espoo. The dissertation introduces a competency model that describes 12 most relevant competencies for user-centered design and provides tools to identify potential competency gaps in the design practices and team compositions.
