Hannu Järvinen, M.Sc.(Tech.) will defend the dissertation “Web Technology based Smart Home Interoperability” on 11 December 2015 at 12 noon in Aalto University, School of Science, lecture hall AS1, Otaniementie 17, Espoo. The dissertation presents an interoperability model emphasizing interaction between different smart home devices. Based on this model, Web technology based interoperability solutions are proposed, while application of Semantic Web technologies and multi-agent system intelligence is also suggested.
