The Artificial Intelligence Day (AI Day) brings together researchers, companies and the public sector involved in the fast-developing field of AI. The event promotes matchmaking, information sharing and cross-border collaboration.

The current, top-level AI research and education in Finland will be displayed during our half-day event.
Academics, welcome to present your results and network with potential private and public sector partners! Companies, come tell about your problems that need solving!
We offer intriguing matchmaking opportunities for companies and the public sector – you are welcome to come and discuss how AI is changing the world and to discover new opportunities for your business. Meet the people at the leading edge of AI research and combine your efforts to get a head start for your organisation.
Demo area
In addition to research posters and demos, there will be rollup demo spaces with table (width max 1m) available for startups and companies for a small fee. Also organisations offering AI education are welcome. Please, contact Terhi Kajaste at terhi.kajaste@aalto.fi for further information latest on 30 November.

Samuel Kaski is an Academy Professor at Aalto University and leads the Finnish Centre of Excellence on Computational Inference Research. He develops machine learning methods with his group and collaborators. |

Teemu Roos is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, University of Helsinki. Prof Roos's research interests include the theory and applications of artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science. |

Michael Gutmann is machine learning faculty at the School of Informatics in the University of Edinburgh. His current research interests revolve around developing efficient statistical inference methods for intractable models and applying them to challenging problems in engineering and the natural sciences. |

Dr. Gabbouj is a Professor of Signal Processing at the Department of Signal Processing, Tampere University of Technology. His research interests include multimedia content-based analysis, indexing and retrieval, machine learning, nonlinear signal and image processing and analysis, voice conversion, and video processing and coding. |

Giulio Jacucci, Professor at the Department of Computer Science (University of Helsinki). His area of research is human-computer interaction and intelligent user interfaces. |
